Winter Retreat is a weekend for students to get away and grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus. This year our theme is Encounter and we will study four moments when someone met Jesus and how their lives were changed. Through large group teaching, worship, and small group study our students will learn to pursue a closer relationship with Jesus every day.
Winter Retreat is January 12-14 at Kingdom Ranch in Somerville, TX., and the cost is $30. This includes our lodging, food, and a t-shirt for the weekend. Please register by following the link below. For more information please contact Josh in the Student Ministry Office.

Home for the Holidays is a special time for women that includes a Panera-catered brunch, program, and shopping! We’ll fellowship and eat together around beautifully decorated tables. The program that follows will include Christmas worship songs led by some of our own women at First, and a Christmas message by speaker Darla Baerg. After that, there will be a time of shopping (12-2) with area vendors at their booths in the fellowship hall.
There will be great food, friends, laughter, shopping, door prizes, encouragement, challenge, and worship. We hope to see you there, and bring some friends!
SEE YOU AT THE POLE day is on Wednesday, September 27, at 7:00 a.m. local time. All around the globe, in every time zone, students will be gathering at their flagpoles, praying for their school, friends, families, churches, and communities. SEE YOU AT THE POLE is a day committed to global unity in Christ and prayer for your generation.
Our preschool Sunday school classes will celebrate the grandparents in the senior adult classes.
Launch is our Back-2-School Kickoff Event. It is weekend for students to fellowship and get themselves spiritually ready for the school year.
